Continuation of Dale Collier’s Story
As Dale matured in his faith in the Lord in 2005, he continued to receive and write down what the Holy Spirit revealed to him. Kings Counsel and Trust was to be an ‘Ark of Trust’ – a vehicle for helping those willing to hear, listen and obey God in the coming times of economic shaking.
One day during his quiet time, Dale heard very clearly, almost verbally, “I Dare You.” This startled Dale as he looked around the room expecting to see someone speaking to him. He, after a few moments, continued to pray. He then heard a clear word again, “I Dare You is for the daring few who are headed somewhere.”
Now more aware of a voice definitely speaking to him, Dale responded to the voice, “Lord, what are you saying?” A response came back almost immediately, “You are the salt of the earth; you are the light of the world. Dale, I Dare You, to share with others the fruits of your daring. Catch a passion for helping others, sharing and giving what you have and a richer life will come back to you!”
Dale, “In accepting My dare, you will be one of My few priceless ones. In the eyes of a few priceless ones, the dare will become a renewal of purpose.”
Dale responded, “What, God, are you saying to me today?”
“I dare you to be the healthiest person in the business community. I dare you to fill your body with fresh air, pure water, wholesome food, and daily exercise until your cheeks are rosy, your chest full, and your limbs sturdy. Chase the poisons out of your system. I dare you to BE-come more like me.
I am going to unfold a secret power few know how to use – the power of daring to share which carries tremendous responsibilities. Once you receive it, you can never rest until you have given it to others. You will quickly realize the more you give, you enlarge your capacity to give.
The world is full of unused talents and latent abilities. The reason these talents lie buried is that individuals need courage to dig them up and use them. Everybody can improve, but only a few dare.
Wealth, notoriety, place, and power are no measure of success. The only true measure of success is the relation between what we might have done and what we might have been on the one hand, and the things we have made and the thing we have made of ourselves on the other.
I want you to start a crusade in your life – to dare to be your best. The only reason you are not the person you should be is you don’t dare to be. Once you stop drifting with the crowd and face life courageously, life takes on new significance.
Desire something permanent in life, develop your gifts to the largest possible use – that’s your dare. You have a wealth of possibilities. I don’t define wealth as material things as much as your possibilities to create with me to meet the needs of others. That is real wealth.
Our most valuable possessions are those which can be shared without lessening: those which, when shared, multiply. Our least valuable possessions are those which, when divided, are diminished.
I Dare you to Adventure. Adventure means living to the full. Unless one is committed and enthusiastic (going with God), not just interested, one will not even want to go on a picnic, let alone start on a journey destined to positively affect mankind. When our appetites have an edge, we enjoy our meals. Resistance makes crooked rivers and crooked men. Each fish that battles upstream is worth ten that loaf in lazy pools. The only fish that float down river are dead fish. True, the mass of people prefer the familiar way. Old ways are effortless. Physically or mentally lazy people do not want to adjust themselves.
You will discover, as you pursue this dare with Me, it is a privilege to dare and to give. Your days won’t be humdrum when you lift your head above the crowd.
How to dare, you ask? First, it is necessary to agree that living in adventure changes the whole complexion of life. So many live in fear. I define fear as the emotional response to losing control over something. If you think about it, nothing in this life, or on this planet belongs to you. The universe belongs to Me. You are not even your own. I made you and saved you. Therefore, you have nothing to fear.
And why dare? Because unless you dare, you will not succeed. Many will say, ‘It is all very well for you to say that, but my circumstances are different. It is beyond me to dare.’
Challenge that thought in your mind. Understand it is your deadly enemy. The humdrum life is the one most in need of adventure. You can cure your weakness by vigorous action. Start something! Government, business, education, family, religion, entertainment and media, all are looking for the man or woman who dares to face life, to attack rather than defend.
Be honest with yourself. What do you think of life anyway? What do you think of yourself? Are you satisfied that you are carrying responsibility equal to your capacity? Are you contented to have posterity look at your life so far and say, ‘That is all he or she was capable of?’ Or, are you one of the priceless few, one of those with a restless feeling that someday you are going to climb to your rightful place of leadership? That someday you are going to create something worthy of your best? If this is your attitude then your voyage of discovery is not in vain. You are the volunteer for whom I am looking. Then make that ‘someday’ you have been waiting for, today.
If you dare, then:
I dare you to do things. I dare you to discover your capacities and use them with Me. Why not put a bomb under your capacities? Why not force a crisis? Without some incentives to stir souls to action, most things on earth would not have been accomplished or invented.
If you choose to take this dare, Dale, if you choose to take this adventure with Me, you will discover (take the cover off) the hidden resources within yourself. Those resources I hid for you to find.
There are four primary resources to look for – four sleeping giants: the physical, the mental, the social and the spiritual. Life cannot be complete unless you develop all four sides. Each side that is developed in turn stimulates the other three sides. All for one and one for all – life’s musketeers work together for one common end. A four-fold life. Progress in life is coming out of all four sides of life. The greatest example and model of this life is Jesus, for it is written, ‘And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature and in favor with God and man.’
Life is designed by Me such that individuals must play, work, love and worship to get the most out of life. How dare you have within yourself these four-fold capacities and not use them!
It is important to understand and acknowledge that life is a four-sided affair – that your daring program is going to lead you into physical adventures, mental adventures, social adventures and spiritual adventures. You have a body, a brain, a heart, and a soul – these are your living tools with which to accomplish the purpose which I have designed and given you.
To use these tools is not a task or burden but a golden opportunity. To find new capacities within you is not robbing you of any pleasure. It is bringing new treasure into every waking hour. It is helping you touch life at all angles, absorb strength from all contacts, pour out power on all fronts. The more you pour out, the more you find to pour. The more of life’s treasure you keep to yourself, the less you have yourself. The more you share with others, the more you have yourself. One of life’s great rules is this: the more you give, the more you get.
Dale, I know that if you dare to use the talents you have you will find yourself growing stronger physically, mentally, socially, spiritually and that you can multiply your talents a hundred-fold by sharing their fruits. As you give your life away, behold a richer life comes back to you.
I repeat life’s great principle: Man’s most valuable possessions are those which can be shared without lessening; those which when shared multiply. Man’s least valuable possessions are those which when divided are diminished.
I designed you, Dale, to think in images or pictures. I want to burn this four-square idea into your heart (Proverbs 23:7, Matthew 12:34, Jeremiah 17:9, Proverbs 4:23, Luke 12:34, Luke 6:45) so it will be part of you. No plan is worth the paper it is printed on unless it starts you doing something. There is too much telling in this life and not enough doing. Photograph this, what I’ll call, Magic Square, on your brain. It is a symbol of the richer, fuller life, the emblem you are to follow in your daring adventure with Me.
The content I am giving you, the foundation for Kings Counsel and Trust, is a definite program for the daring few who are determined to tap all of their inner resources. If you, Dale, don’t feel the urge to DARE don’t invest your time and energy to go on. If you lack courage or faith – lean on Me. The content I give you must be shared and given away or it will not help you or others. What I give must be freely shared and given away or it will diminish. If you willingly choose to do and dare, then immediately assume the offensive.
The day of defending one’s present possessions is gone. From now on you are not going to worry about holding a job or how your needs will be met. Put that responsibility on Me – I AM your Source and Supply. Your heart and eyes must be turned toward your strength, not your weaknesses. Hereafter, you will wake in the morning thinking of ways to do things and co-create with Me, rather than reasons why they can’t be done.
Here is your mission going forward, if you so choose:
- I Dare You to Be Strong
- I Dare You to Think Creatively
- I Dare You to Develop a Magnetic Personality
- I Dare You to Build Character
- I Dare You to Share
The Sea of Galilee and the Dead Sea are made of the same water. The Sea of Galilee flows down, clear and cool, from the Hermon and the roots of the cedars of Lebanon. The Sea of Galilee has an outlet. It receives to give. It gathers in its riches that it may pour them out again to fertilize the Jordan plain. But the Dead Sea, with the same water, is a horror having no outlet. It simply gathers. That is the radical difference between the unselfish and selfish.
We all want life’s enriching blessings; we ought to; they are divine benedictions. Some individuals gain to give, and they are like Galilee; while others keep, becoming the brackish water that covers Sodom and Gomorrah.
I dare you Dale to live life as if everything depended on you and have faith as if everything depended on Me. I dare you to lead others likewise. I dare you to take your place amongst My few who have chosen to dare.
And when you have dared to develop this ability to share with others you have discovered the meaning of an abundant life. Following the principle that one’s most valuable possessions are those which can be shared without lessening. Those which, when shared multiply. Our least valuable possessions are those which, when divided, are diminished. Truly your physical, mental, social and spiritual selves multiply many times over when they are shared.
The more you practice this principle of daring and sharing, the more you find it in every contact of life.
Dale, the miracle of the story of the loaves and fishes is not one of feeding the thousands with but a few loaves and fish, but the attitude that takes account of resources possessed rather than difficulties presented. Measure your powers, not your problems.
Here is a universal law of Mine, resources and powers are given to those who use what resources and powers they have. Through the use of one’s muscles, the muscles grow and harden. Through the use of one’s mind, mental capacity increases; through the use of one’s spiritual powers these powers heighten. We do not wear out the mind with thinking, or the soul with loving and showing mercy. It is within the experience of all of us that through using what we have our abilities and resources are enlarged – don’t count the multitude, count the loaves.
Dale, I don’t ask men for more than they can give, but I do ask for all they can give.
