We the People Always Have the Power to Vote with Our Wallets!

People understand that in the absence of positive leadership within our governmental institutions today, that they have not only more personal responsibility, but they have a huge amount of individual power. When, as individuals we’re spending $36 billion a day, the individual decisions that we make can add up to an enormously powerful lever even if government doesn’t step in in a positive way.

Consumers are “voting with their money” now more than ever, which means they are increasingly more willing to CoVest in Small Businesses that share their same values.

The G47 Marketplace, and the International Silver Dollar Association (ISDA) were designed to be the world’s leader in bringing this spirit of CoVesting of our Time, Talent and Treasure (T3) to present a real positive disruption to redefine the broken paradigm of our global economic system, and to provide a more secure and sustainable economy through a significantly more advanced medium when it comes to storing our collective wealth and CoVested energies!

Now More than Ever …

Now more than ever … we should be living in intentional community.

Remember when your mom could walk next door and borrow a cup of sugar? Remember when your dad could borrow another neighbor’s ladder to cut down a tree limb … or when the boy down the street would pop by to mow the lawn … or when a girl from the block over would be happy to come by and babysit … or when people who lived close by would share groceries or garden veggies? Remember when you could talk to everyone in the neighborhood, even though on Sundays you went to different churches? What has happened with the camaraderie of the Body of Christ?

Much of the answer to that question goes back to the church and its history:

1700 years ago, Constantine set in motion the mechanism that would become what is known as the Christian church, slyly extending the reign of the Roman empire even up to this day. 300 years prior to that, however, Jesus built upon Himself the Ecclesia. The church system is failing, as all man-made efforts must eventually; the Ecclesia, however, to the extent that it is not identified as and tied to the church, is thriving and poised for its most significant opportunities for advancement since its diversionary “sheltering” under the “protection” of Rome.

What exactly is the “Ecclesia”? For the uninitiated, every time the word “church” appears in the Bible, the original Greek word there was “ecclesia,” but “church” is not a translation of ecclesia; it is, rather, a crafty substitution that was made in subsequent years (the history of which makes for very interesting study). The Ecclesia may also be known as the “Body of Christ” or God’s Kingdom on Earth: it is all of those believers who are blood-bought, born-again, children of God, disciples of His Son Jesus – those who are redeemed by the blood of the Lamb and who, according to Him, will live with God forever. (Sometimes it is called the “first century church,” though the term “church” was never used for it until Constantine 300 years later.) It is the collective individual component of what one might envision when thinking about all of the believers who compose the WHOLE “church” (as we have commonly been taught to substitute for ecclesia) – that which includes the entire world population of believers, not as defined by location or denomination or leadership, etc. – and MORE! (One can join a church without truly being part of the Ecclesia, while another can, through a personal relationship with God though His Son Jesus, be part of the Ecclesia and never set foot in a church.) One may be of the Ecclesia and a member of a church as well; in fact, much of the Ecclesia is very active in church as, yes, Ecclesia is often in church (though church is not in Ecclesia), and many either seemingly have no alternative or do not know to make any distinction between the two.

The supposition that “church” means the same as ecclesia produces severe limitations upon the Body of Christ – limitations such as elevating one day above the other six (so that God will, thus, be limited to influencing us 86% less), making a building into the “house of God” instead of our own individual bodies as scripture actually teaches, putting a select group of leaders – “clergy” – between us (“laity”) and God, and separating the “religious” (that which is “church-related”) from the “secular” (everything else). The kicker is that we find NONE of these things in scripture, though scripture is supposedly the basis for all that the church believes and stands upon. Conveniently, the church also misconstrues scripture to teach that God commands us to simply submit to whatever “authority” we happen to find “over us,” regardless of how that “authority” got there or its legitimacy in the face of the totality of scripture! The fact is that God has assigned rulership to His Ecclesia in ALL areas of life – law & government, money & banking, family & education, health & nutrition, business, communications, etc. – AND He has given us the rules and principles needed for us to excel and overcome all adversity in all of these areas! (And He has given each of us, individually, areas of rulership, though many go through life never discovering, nor daring to step into, the area into which they are called.)

Today, for example, the man-made financial world is disintegrating as fiat currencies (the “value” of which is determined solely by what the private “government” issuing it decrees and as agreed to by the marketplace) are losing confidence. But God has given us lasting principles of honest exchange and continual value that, if and when followed, are completely immune from changing tides in the marketplace and the shifting sands of man-centric government. AND, what’s more, God placed the administration of His financial system into the hands of His Ecclesia – not “the church,” but the Ecclesia.

What if there was a marketplace where God’s standards of “just weights and measures” and His solid concept of real value governed? What if there was a place where the Ecclesia could meet together to trade amongst each other rather than giving away their value to a failing system that will honor our Creator only by its eventual demise? What if there was a mechanism in place whereby the Ecclesia could support its own, taking care of the truly needy and blessing those who give rather than relying upon a coercive worldly government system that rewards laziness while punishing industriousness?

In Genesis, the Hebrew slave, Joseph, as God’s chosen leader, became second in command in all of the earth as he administered the food resources to allow the people to prosper during a seven-year famine. Do you suppose that God gave us that example for a reason? Could it be that He intends for us to follow that wisdom so as to be the leaders in the world in the coming difficult “famine” days? And who would He intend to be the modern day Josephs if not His Ecclesia? Would you like to be a part of that plan?

There is but one Lawgiver and Source of Law. Beyond that there are multitudinous contracts. We either follow His Law … or we submit to contract or coercion. Which would you choose? Would you like to know the difference so as to be able to begin to choose for yourself as a good steward of what God has entrusted to you?

We, the Ecclesia, are to govern the whole earth, but through love and excellent good works rather than by conquest and coercion. If we each will step up into the gifts that we have been given, not just “full-time Christian service” on the “religion mountain,” we will go a long way towards accomplishing God’s purpose for us here and we will thrive and prosper individually as well as collectively.

With the technology that we have in place today, it is possible to enjoy the intentional community, if often on a virtual basis, internationally. As we were commissioned to go out into and to reach the entire world, and the world is crying out for the solutions that we have, the Ecclesia needs to be such an intentional community … Now More than Ever.

Reformation Celebration Recap

Reformation Celebration

The Series

Recap

We kicked off this “Reformation Celebration” series on October 31, reflecting on Martin Luther’s initiation of the Protestant Reformation exactly 500 years ago. We have published a list of 16 characteristics or qualifications of the man (men and women) we seek. There will be more general announcements in days to come, but more specific information is reserved for those who respond affirmatively and specifically request it.

Either this series has appealed to you personally, or it has not, but somewhere along the way, reading one of the descriptions of the man whom we seek, you may have thought of someone that it described. We’d love for you to respond and tell us of your own alignment with what you’ve read here, but just as valuable to us would be to know of the one(s) whose description you understood from what you read.

Here is a recap of the qualifications of the man we seek (all linked back to our blog).

One who would qualify must:

Qualification #1: … have impeccable INTEGRITY with a wholesome FEAR (respect, honor) and REVERANCE for Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior. One must be IN Christ AND know who he* IS in Christ. God must rule as King in all areas of his* life as THE Authority. This is the first and foremost criteria.

Qualification #2: … be a servant leader and know his unique gifting by God for (a) specific purpose(s).

Qualification #3: … have at least one area of leadership strength and, while maybe not yet seeing and understanding all of the other counterfeits that have oppressed him, will at least understand how that oppression operates and will be open to seeing the other areas in which he’s been deceived.

Qualification #4: … be apt to teach (I Tim. 3:2; II Tim. 2:24), from his Knowledge, Wisdom and Understanding, operating from the authority of God rather than from a counterfeit authority position (man-made licenses, titles, degrees, credentials, positions, etc.).

Qualification #5: if schooled and/or credentialed in counterfeit authority (law, religion, medicine, education, etc.), one must have had a “conversion experience” and have left the counterfeit standard behind (Pr. 28:13).

Qualification #6: … be kingdom-minded and understanding that the Ecclesia established by our Lord Jesus Christ transcends the boundaries of any sect, denomination, ordination, organization, occupation, gender, race, ethnicity or geographical situs.

Qualification #7: … understand that an Ecclesia leader is an ambassador of Jesus Christ; therefore, he must strive always towards the building of the Lord’s kingdom and not his own.

Qualification #8: … have character references (a “good report” ~ Acts 10:22; 22:12; Heb. 11:2,39) from both within and without the household of faith, exhibiting the character traits illustrated as for bishops and deacons as expressed in I Timothy 3:1-12 and Titus 1:4-9.

Qualification #9: … possess effective knowledge of Ecclesia networks and friendly contacts necessary to align with established financial/project management vehicles for the rapid advancement of the Kingdom.

Qualification #10: … have a proven track record of not being corrupted by finances, power (“authority”), and/or narcissistic lusts, nor of being engaged in determined criminal activity.

Qualification #11: … be willing to covenant to maintain integrity and confidentiality to insure personal security for effective deployment of internal financial mechanisms.

Qualification #12: … be able to demonstrate a proven track record of accountability without compromising truth and holiness or succumbing to the fear of men.

Qualification #13: … be a team player, teachable, and possess the cognitive ability to comprehend formatted business plans (and other various components).

Qualification #14: …model modest living, meekness (strength under control), and humility (a servant leader).

Qualification #15: … possess a basic understanding of global geopolitical, religious and economic issues with a general awareness of extant mechanisms seeking to establish a New World Order as defined by antichrist belief systems.

Qualification #16: … be able to identify other men* of integrity, both domestically and internationally, to be used for the same purpose.

Now is the time for you to respond. Please give us your feedback. If some or all of this resonated with you and you have not yet responded, please do so now. If there are some areas that appealed to you and others that did not, please tell us. Those who do respond will be on the inside track to learn more about what is possibly the greatest happening in all of Christendom in 500 years!

#16 – Deep Rolodex

Reformation Celebration

The Series

#16 – Deep Rolodex

The sixteenth characteristic of the man of God whom we seek is that he will be able to identify other men of integrity, both domestically and internationally, to be used for the same purpose.

As discussed in #9 above, this leader will be a natural networker, knowing his way around the ecclesia, both on and away from the “religion and faith mountain.” In his “travels,” then, he will have identified and befriended other leaders like himself, who operate in integrity with God’s principles first and foremost. His “Rolodex” will be full of the names of other leaders, so that, when faced with a situation requiring additional resources of wisdom, Godly authority, communications, materiel, associations, etc., he will know just who to call.

What is more, he will be uninhibited in reaching out to those he knows to best accomplish the purposes to which God has set him.

See, in an organization that depends on volunteers to operate, the ability and willingness – indeed, the drive – to reach out and bring in more volunteers is critical. It is, in fact, the first priority of leadership – right up there with “put your own oxygen mask on first.”

As mentioned previously, this is a team task. A robust team has both a strong bench and a steady influx of new member prospects. And, like the old saying, “it’s not what you know; it’s who you know” that counts.

So what is the shape of your contact list, and what is the state of your passion to pull other people into the thing that God has called you to do?

#15 – NWO Awareness

Reformation Celebration

The Series

#15 – NWO Awareness

The fifteenth characteristic of the man of God whom we seek is that he will possess a basic understanding of global geopolitical, religious and economic issues with a general awareness of extant mechanisms seeking to establish a New World Order as defined by antichrist belief systems.

Some would argue that we are living in the “end times.” Whatever that may mean, exactly, one thing is for sure: God’s people will never have an end time. We will live and rule, at some level, in His Kingdom forever. We may face a physical death between now and then – all but two that we know of have so far – but we need not live in fear of any force or enemy or date on a calendar as being the end of life as we know it.

That said, there are things going on in the world that have progressed for thousands of years to bring us to the point where we are today, with God’s kingdom on earth facing opposition like never before. That is what the antichrist system is – what opposes the triumph of God’s kingdom in His creation. Like for any other obstruction in our path, a leader must obviously be aware of and be able to navigate those obstructions.

Much is going on right now economically. Different currencies are competing to be the reserve currency of the world. While the U.S. dollar has held that distinction for generations, its continuation as such is anything but certain. Wars and incursions in the name of religion are escalating around the world. And while the more important consideration, the one that will ultimately prevail, is spiritual, the man we seek will be wise and wary about current, past and developing world conditions. This is bigger, obviously, than keeping up with “the news.” It involves an awareness that must be as much spiritual as anything else.

Are you so aware? Most importantly, are you confident in your knowledge of Who wins in the end?

#14 – Not A Show-off

Reformation Celebration

The Series

#14 – Not A Show-off

The fourteenth characteristic of the man of God whom we seek is that he will model modest living, meekness (strength under control), and humility (a servant leader).

A more powerful man is one who possesses great strength, but who chooses not to use it indiscriminately, to show it off, or to boast about it. Jesus was such a man. As the Creator of all, He possessed all power, but He kept that power under His total control, choosing not to use it in the times when it would have been most advantageous to Him. We know that as meekness – strength under control. Showing off His power in that way was not why He was here; rather, He modeled for us much greater power by His restraint and His total focus on His mission.

One who has the ability to purchase much and to live extravagantly often gives up more than he gains by doing so. For one, he diminishes his options to help other people; for him, it is the ultimate opportunity cost. Rather, if he chooses to live modestly and to use his resources for larger purposes than himself, he is exhibiting another form of strength under control. And he understands, by personal practice, the blessings of giving, of practicing personal philanthropy.

As a leader, this man operates in humility, not brashness or braggadocio or bravado. He leads by serving rather than by giving loud orders or commands or by threatening or intimidating. Those who follow him do so out of a sense of privilege and honor, not of obligation or duty.

Where does such an idea hail from? From the head of the ecclesia, Himself: “But Jesus called them to him and said, ‘You know that the rulers of the Gentiles lord it over them, and their great ones exercise authority over them. It shall not be so among you. But whoever would be great among you must be your servant, and whoever would be first among you must be your slave, even as the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.’” (Matthew 20:25-28)

Are you such a leader? Or do you know of such a leader?
